Homemaker service provides a caregiver that will assist clients with hands-on personal care, such as ambulation, transfer, mobility, bathing, washing and combing hair, shaving, and other grooming tasks to enable clients to feel good about their appearance while providing safety, privacy, and comfort at home. Although caregivers cannot administer medication, they can remind clients to take their own medication. Caregivers may assist with opening containers, reading labels and reminding the client when it's time to take a dose.
Care plans are tailored to fit whatever schedule and nonmedical skill set is required. Call today for a free in-home consultation with our Care Manager.
Services include but are not limited to: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms (sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets), cleaning kitchens (sinks, counters, taking out trash), organizing closets and drawers.
Caregivers may shop for groceries and run errands. Clients with their own vehicle may choose to help with the shopping and errands as an excellent way to stay active and engaged.
